Jo will need to know about significant health or performance issues or any medications your horse has had recently, including worming paste. Consulting with your vet prior to massage may be necessary and Jo is keen to provide massage that is complimentary to vet care and advice.

Jo will need a safe place to massage your horse, ideally where your horse will feel comfortable (and shelter if required depending on weather)

After massage, the horse should ideally rest at least 48 hours (if competing, the massage is adjusted accordingly) - and no medications given within 12 hours after massage if possible. 

Jo is always happy to respond to questions or concerns before, during or after the massage.
